Good to know

When is the best time to visit Tanzania?

June to October is dry, cool and the classic safari window. January to March is green, quieter and the calving season in the southern Serengeti. April and May are the long rains — cheapest, wettest, and still lovely if you don't mind mud.

How do I book, and what deposit do you need?

Send a request from any package page. We reply within 24 hours with a tailored quote. A 30% deposit confirms your dates and the balance is due 30 days before arrival.

Is the price per person?

Yes — all prices shown are per person sharing a double or twin room, based on two travellers. Solo travellers and larger groups get a recalculated quote.

Do I need vaccinations or a visa?

A tourist visa is available online or on arrival. Yellow fever proof is only required if you're arriving from a country where it's endemic. Talk to your travel clinic about malaria prophylaxis.

How fit do I need to be for Kilimanjaro?

You don't need to be an athlete, but you should be comfortable walking 5-7 hours a day for a week. Our longer routes have far higher summit rates because of the extra acclimatisation day.
